Seven World Wonders. Aren't you anxious to put together some first class dirt cheap vacations?
There is nothing more awesome to me than nature. Anytime I feel overwhelmed I just grab my bike and get outside.
Talk about immediately putting things in perspective. Talk about immediately feeling grateful! So I thought the 7 natural wonders of the world would be a good place to start!
Now you may have heard of the seven wonders of the ancient world. 1) Great Pyramid of Giza, 2) Hanging Gardens of Babylon, 3) Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, 4) Statue of Zeus at Olympia, 5) Mausoleum of Maussolios at Halicarnassus, 6) Colossus of Rhodes 7) Lighthouse of Alexandria.
Unfortunately, only one of them remains. You guessed it, the Great Pyramids of Giza is the only one on the list that has stood the test of time.
The rest were destroyed by either earthquake or fire.
But, you know, they weren't really addressing the WORLD anyway! Just the mediterranean, which the ancient writers of the day considered "the world." You can visit where they were located, but I decided to start with natural amazement.
I believe there is a general worldwide consensus that this list makes up
the 7 natural world wonders:
1. Grand Canyon - Arizona, USA
2. Great Barrier Reef - Australia
3. Harbor at Rio De Janeiro - Brazil
4. Mt. Everest - Nepal
5. Northern Lights - Scandinavia
6. Paricutin - Mexico
7. Victoria Falls - Africa
Have you been to any of the seven world wonders yet? So far, I've only been to one! I spent a little time as a child living in Flagstaff, AZ. So I did get to see the Grand Canyon. I was so small though, my memories are hazy. Time to go again!
Now remember, we are planning a first class dirt cheap vacation to each of the seven wonders! We're not settling for less than that because we don't have to!
That means first class dirt cheap accommodations. Do you believe we can do it?
I'm excited to put these trips together through my timeshare exchange opportunities! It's one thing for me to tell you what you can do, it's much more powerful to show you.
I'll just take you along as I plan our vacations to see the seven wonders of the world using our vacation ownership. Hopefully you've seen why I believe in timeshare, Why Timeshare, and my recommendation for the best timeshare, Buying a Timeshare.
My grandma always said the proof is in the pudding!
Some people believe that when you are visiting the seven natural wonders of the world, you should be "natural" -- you know, camping or roughing it.
Hey, I have nothing against camping (although the ground seems to keep getting harder and harder! Is it just me?) But that classifies as an adventure vacation, which is in a different category than I'm talking about here!
So just imagine heading out to visit the seven world wonders from a home away from home! It's an entirely different experience. It's like pretending that you LIVE there!.
That's exciting -- and a lot easier. The focus becomes the seven wonders, not dealing with setting up camp and trying to figure out how to cook over a campfire!
Remember, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the places and moments that take our breath away."
Get ready to gasp!
